No Kings protest 10/18/25 - Daytona Beach, FL

There is a lot to feel bleak about lately…people being killed in the streets by ICE, children used as bait and thrown into prison camps, the blatant lies told by Trump and his administration, demonizing the innocent and protecting the demons…there are really too many horrible things to name them all here. It is easy to feel scared and hopeless, it is by design. They want us to give in and give up, but that isn’t going to happen!

The remedy for despair is action, and we are seeing it play out across the US - communities working together, resisting and fighting back. The people of Minneapolis are showing us what solidarity and resistance look like. When I feel hopeless I look for the helpers and and work to find ways that I can help as well. Everyone can find a role in the resistance!

Here are a few of the images I captured at the last NO KINGS rally on 10/18/25 in Daytona Beach. There will be another protest this Saturday, following a nationwide general strike! Time to remove and prosecute this administration, abolish ICE, and build a future that values people over profits, humans over borders, a society that fosters love and empathy not hate and division.
